• First inspection if the weather is warm
• Check that the hive has a Queen who is laying sufficiently
• Mark the Queen
• Check the level of stores
• Swarm prevention
• Replace any old frames
• Shallow frames for Drone production
• Add Queen excluder and supers if the colony is expanding
• Feed Nucs with contact feeders
